A note from Mrs. Kinder (Summer 2017):
I am Ashley Kinder, the wife of Britian and mother of Isaac and Eli. Our family attends Victory Baptist Church where I actively work with the youth and our Vacation Bible School program. I graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. My first year teaching was in the military town of Jacksonville, North Carolina. I then taught for three and a half years in Clay County, West Virginia. Since moving to Calhoun County in 2012, I have been blessed with the time to stay home with our two boys. I am thankful and delighted with the opportunity to teach at Little Kanawha Valley Christian School. I look forward to teaching in a loving, family-oriented, Christian environment where students have the opportunity to build both a strong spiritual and academic foundation.

We at LKVCS were excited in 2016 to announce that the Lord had fulfilled yet another need in our school. As our enrollment increased, it became apparent that another teacher was needed, and we were blessed and excited to announce the addition of Mrs. Kathy Lough to our staff. She came to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience with not only working in Christian schools, but also with the A Beka program. We are very pleased to present to you, Mrs. Kathy Lough.
Introduction from Mrs. Lough, Summer 2016:
I am Kathy Lough, the wife of Pastor Jim Lough and the mother of Amy, Jennifer and Amanda. The Lord has also blessed us with three wonderful sons-in-law and five of the "grandest" grandchildren on earth. We moved to Calhoun County in March of 2011 as my husband accepted the pastorate of New Testament Baptist Church in Big Springs. During the nearly thirty years of my husband's ministry, the Lord has blessed me with the privilege of working with children. I have been able to work in two Christian schools with a total of 15 years experience. I know there is no greater opportunity than to invest in the lives of children. I am excited to see how the Lord will work in each of our lives this year at LKVCS
